From Rush Limbaugh:What Health Care Crisis?

On his June 16 Radio Rant, comedian Rush Limbaugh opined that "There is no crisis. ... The crisis in health care here has been manufactured."

Well of course there is no health care crisis for you, Rush.

Your last contract with Clear Channel was an 8-year, $38 million a year deal, along with a $100 million signing bonus... totaling about $400 million.

You can buy all the Oxycontin and Viagra you want.

Jagoff.

That man is such a PIG!
I don't have a TV, so I don't see him much or hear about him either. But each time I do hear about him, I am always taken aback that he is so incredibly Piggish.

Rush is getting a wee bit desperate, IMHO. He's being obtuse and negative in an effort to not get left behind by the wackier talk radio hosts, like 1998-1999, when his non-Arbitron ratings dipped lower than G. Gordon Liddy's.

Sad commentary on his need for power and money, that he'd propound more and more insane drivel just to keep his ratings up.

Wonder how much further he'll go before he crosses the line and gets himself in real trouble - it couldn't happen too soon as far as I'm concerned.

Maeve,

Rush has crossed the line numerous times.

Haven't you noticed that every time any member of the GOP points that out, they later wind up apologizing to the gasbag for their audacity?

Rush is without question the de facto leader of the GOP... Rush is He Who Must Be Obeyed™.

Don't think about it too much, though, else it will induce nausea.

Arrgh, give me a break!
At what point do folks stop seperating true political process from entertainment? Rush does not speak for any true political party, any more thane O'Rielly, or Hannnity or any other of the handful + of the media sideshow.
Does anyone, of the change seeking populace, realize that the media simply spins what will drive a reaction, thus boosting ratings and selling advertising space?
These political commentary specialists are nothing more than the new version of Barnum & Bailey.
They will always have a colliseum and a crowd to play to.
Why?
Because it is easier for us to listen and filter their balderdash than it is for us to ask the hard questions. It is easier than educating ourselves to the truth of the problems. Sound bytes are simpler to digest than facts.
Both sides of this fence throw trash over the other side.
Ask hard questions folks! Research a little into the issue before you decide. For crying out loud, contact that senator or congressman and tell them how you feel!
I will not always agree with my neighbors, but I am tired of a media that drives our nations economy and our government.
It should be the other way around.
Think aboutr it.
Peace
Griff
